Hello, I’m Kyla and I am Certified Holistic Nutrition and Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine Coach, focused on helping people live their most vibrant life through whole-food nutrition and wellness. I am committed to reshaping your relationship with food and educating you on the power to heal.

This is not a diet; this is a lifestyle.

My approach is focused on eight pillars of health: empowered eating, hydration, stress reduction, deep sleep, mindful living, deep connection, self-care, and movement. My individualized holistic approach centers around the whole body and each client’s specific symptoms. These pillars are all interconnected and, when in balance, lead to a healthy well-being. No matter what you are going through, once you learn techniques to shift your body back into balance, you will start to heal and see improved vitality.

My areas of expertise include digestive and gut health, thyroid and Hashimoto's, fertility and reproductive support, and educating clients on the power of nutrition’s role in their overall well-being.

It was my own deteriorating health that led me on my health and wellness journey in my 20s. Years of unexplained symptoms related to digestive issues, anxiety and depression, fatigue, and hormonal imbalances led me to countless doctors with not many answers. One day at NYU Langone, after reviewing my test results, a doctor looked me in the eyes and told me stress was mimicking disease in my body, and I had to slow down. I was shocked but also felt empowered to take control.

I started seeing a naturopath in NYC who guided me through a Candida cleanse—cutting all sugar, dairy, gluten, alcohol, and inflammatory foods. I quickly learned how powerful nutrition and supplementation were. Taking my journey one step further, I sought out a renowned functional doctor who helped me uncover the root cause of many of my digestive symptoms and diagnosed me with GERD, SIBO, Hashimoto’s, leaky gut, food allergies, and nutrient deficiencies. Again, it was an overwhelming diagnosis but inspiring at the same time. Finally, I had answers and began my healing protocol. This is when everything changed for me. My health was improving drastically, and I hadn’t realized the brain fog, fatigue, mood fluctuations, and anxiety I had been dealing with were associated with my nutrition and wellness. I immediately enrolled in Kerri Glassman’s Nutritious Life certification program in 2013. That same year, I signed up for my 200 RYT teacher training at Sonic Yoga in NYC, where I dove headfirst into the power of mindfulness and movement.

Recently, in 2023, following fertility struggles with getting pregnant with a second baby, I enrolled in Harvard Medicine’s Lifestyle Medicine certification program to gain new perspective, deepen my knowledge, and expand my ability to help other’s. I was overwhelmed with the research surrounding the effects of lifestyle medicine and so inspired to see doctors prescribing it over pharmaceuticals!

Healing, learning, and helping others have become my full-time work and passion. I don’t think people realize how much control they have over their bodies' ability to heal.
